Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who used to be the Fox News analyst.
She is adjunct professor of Law at New York Law School. Previously she was associate professor of Law University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She has a weekly appearance in The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs tonight. The Imus Morning Show. It's the Legal Lis Radio Show and Wiehl of Justice Podcast.
Wiehl is a Yakima native who graduated from West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was an NPR legal reporter. She served as the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. Between 1995 and 2001, she served as an adjunct professor of law in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
