Bellamy Young
Young began her professional career as an actor in the theatre. The actress made her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 as Mary who was the very first actress of The Life. She also performed Off-Broadway, in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Rolled Along (1994), as well as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-1996). In 1995, she made her TV debut in a recurring role on"The Other World," an NBC daytime soap drama Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. In addition, she guest-starred in the show Law & Order in 1997 as well as 1998 in two different characters. Her debut came in 1999 when she appeared in Black and White, a crime-drama. Later she co-starred on a number of independent films. From the mid-2000s onwards, she started appearing as guest-star in a variety of TV comedies and dramas, like The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young was a part of more than thirty television series between the years 2000 to 2011. As of 2003, Young was cast as part of The USA Network show Peacemakers. After a total of nine episodes, a season, the show was canceled. Her character was featured in the Lifetime series For the People, a law-based drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami in 2005 through 2006 and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the son-in-law with the most eldest in the Darling Family. In 2011, she played the role of Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
